Do you get tired of Mom and Dad reminding you to do your homework, take out the trash, and clean your room? King Solomon must have been tired of doing the reminding because this is what he taught his son:

Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!

It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest. Proverbs 6:6-8 (NIV)

If an ant can do things he needs to do without being told, you can too. Put a picture of an ant in a place that will remind you of the job you have: your backpack, the trash can, the door of your room. When you see it, take care of business. You’ll throw Mom and Dad into shock. Report your success.

Fitness Tip: Did you know that chocolate milk makes a great recovery drink after a hard workout or practice?  Give it a try this week.
