About

Hi, I’m Gayle—writer, speaker, athlete, wife, and mom. My mission? To train spiritually fit believers in Christ and to write great stories.

My blog will challenge you to do the hard stuff. You know, the stuff you intend to do, but often don’t. Let’s train together and press in to God.

Fun facts? I love adventure and a good book. I’ve hiked the Grand Canyon rim-to-rim, run five marathons, and read more books than I can count.

When I’m not writing, I’m working out—running, swimming, and biking. My sanity break.

Or hanging with my family: my high school sweetheart, four kids, and a very relaxed white Lab. I’m a Navy mom and a Baylor mom (Sic’em Bears!). My white Lab is named Mizuno for my running shoes, because he’s supposed to run with me. His job in life is shedding so I have something to vacuum each week. Isn’t he sweet?

I’m a freelance writer and a speaker. I’m currently working on some children’s picture books and my first novel (YA). I’ll keep you posted on my progress. I offer writing workshops for students of all ages as well as writing and editing services.

I’m also working on my Master of Arts in Biblical Studies at Dallas Theological Seminary.

I’ll see you on my blog page. I can’t wait to hear from you.

  1. Hi Gayle! Are you married to Russell? I worked for him at Novartis. I just came across your blog on Pinterest. How exciting! Great stuff. You look amazing. Tell your family hello!
